I think that last week's poem of the week was about a King who sent his son (the Prince) to slay a monster in the name of his kingdom. This kingdom is of another world, having different languages and weapons than Earth.
Last week's poem was about a jabberwocky. I think the dad was trying to warn his son about how fearsome the jabberwocky was and the son slays it and the dad is proud.
"The Jabberwocky" by Lewis Carroll is about a young boy, appointed by his father, who killed the beast known as the Jabberwocky. Once the boy had killed the Jabberwocky the boy was praised by his father.
The Poem "Jabberwocky" is about a boy being warned by his father to watch out for a very dangerous and mean animal named the Jabberwocky. The boy ignores his fathers warning and goes out to search for the dangerous animal and kill it. When the boy finds the Jabberwocky he kills it with a sword which makes him and his father very happy.
