  3. There is many differences between Japanese literature and Greek and Roman literature because of the many things such as genres and elements of writing that separate the literature of the Japanese compared to the Greek and Roman. The differences mainly being the lesson being taught and how it is being taught. With the Japanese literature it seems like the lesson is being taught with peace, nature and just a total different type of thinking than Greek and Roman literature. When it comes to Greek and Roman it seems like the lesson is being taught with myths and crazy short stories of how things came to be. The two types of literature are just so different in many different ways.

  4. Greek and Japanese literature are very different, but do have some similarities. Greek literature consists of myths and gods while Japanese literature contains mostly nature and finding peace. Greek literature tells of how things came to be on Earth and Japanese literature wants people to be close with nature and come to peace with themselves. Japanese and Greek literature are also similar though because they both have to do with religion and beliefs. Buddhism was a very popular religion in Japan, so they had literature for it. People of Greece believed in the gods that each created something on earth. These types of literature are also similar because who these stories were written for, they look up to a higher state. In Greek literature they want to be like the gods and be as perfect as they are. In Japanese literature they look to having peace with themselves and have their actions speak louder than words. Overall Greek and Japanese literature are both similar and different.

  6. Japanese literature and Greek and Roman literature are different from each other because of the way they are wrote and the meanings of what is written. Japanese literature is written in the form of a poem whereas Greek and Roman literature are more like short stories. Another difference is that Greek and Roman literature consist of the Greek gods and the myths of how life on Earth was created where as in Japanese literature poems are written about nature and peace. This leads to a similarity between these types of literature because they both have forms of nature. Greek and Roman literature write about the natural phenomena in the world and how it was created and in Japanese literature it is about nature.
