LET'S PLAY A GAME :)

Check out the link below.  There are a ton of facts about Shakespeare's life, works, children, and records. 

Your job is to find 5 true facts about Shakespeare and then make up two lies.  The facts should be about Shakepeare's personal life and not about the plot in his plays although you may talk about how he wrote his plays.

 Respond to this post with the 5 facts and 2 lies in a mixed up order.

  1. He married his wife at 17. His wife's name was Anne Hathaway. They had four children named Susanna, Judith, Hamnet, and Vagita. Hamnet died at 11 and 1/2. There are only 2 images of him that are considered reliable. He died the same day he was born. His wife and him were eight years apart.

  3. -Shakespeare married Annie Hathaway.
    -Some of Shakespeare’s signatures have survived on original documents. In none of them does he spell his name in what has become the standard way. He spells it Shakespe; Shakspe; Shakspere and Shakespear.
    -Shakespeare never actually published any of his plays.
    -Shakespeare lived a double life. By the seventeenth century he had become a famous playwright in London but in his hometown of Stratford, where his wife and children were, and which he visited frequently, he was a well known and highly respected businessman and property owner.
