Peers

What have you learned about your peers from the speeches yesterday?  Please keep this response mature, and do not name specific names.  Make a "sweeping generalization."

  1. Many people are much more confident and brave than what I though, and many people state a very strong opinion on their topic and can really connect with certain experiences that they have went through that directly relate to their topic as well.

  6. That its better to stay calm and confident rather than getting all worked up. Its also a good idea to connect with the audience and really interact with them.

  13. Many people have a new confidence that I haven't seen before and many of them were very comfortable with it which surprised me but everyone did a smashing good job.

  15. Some were nervous to present but overall we were confident and all had well spoken speeches. Some people believed they did not speak as long as they did while other believed they spoke longer than they did.

  18. People were nervous to present and the word "um" was used a few times. They all talked at a decent pace. But in all, people did really well

  27. Everyone who went yesterday seemed to know what they were talking about. They also all said that they were up there for like four minutes when it was actually five or six.
