I was pretty much aware of this already. I didn't have the name of the phenomena or the specifics but I had a fair idea of how they worked. I usually refer to it as "The Fortune Cookie Effect."

ReplyDeleteIt taught me that people tend to believe things about themselves that other people tell them about themselves.
ReplyDeleteIt teaches me that horoscopes are so broad and they make people believe that they are something their not.
ReplyDeleteThe video teaches me that horoscopes are unrealistic and your personality cannot be determined by your birth date. I never really believed them to begin with so I am not very shocked.
ReplyDeleteThis video teaches you that horoscopes are really just scams that applies to mostly everyone because they use general statements that covers a broad spectrum of everyone's personality.

ReplyDeleteThis video teaches me that we have a tendency to believe things like this, even though it's easy to apply them to yourself. They might seem like unique descriptions for your personality, but can be very relatable to many different people.
ReplyDeletei kind of knew about this, and i know that people are easily fooled by things like this, but sometimes i like to believe the horoscope just for fun and giggles
ReplyDeleteit taught me that once we are told something about ourselves, we tend to believe it.
ReplyDeleteThis video taught me to not believe everything that I hear. That I know myself better than anyone else. It taught me that people are able to relate to horoscopes because they are very vague descriptions.

ReplyDeleteThis video taught me to not be so gullible. Some horoscopes can be really accurate but overall i know what kind of person i am, and the way horoscopes describe me can sound is not all true.
